Four Million Coronavirus Cases in Seven Months

A Timeline of a Modern-Day Pandemic By Joel Dazo

A little over a week after China's official media reported its first coronavirus death, Thailand, Japan and South Korea reported their first confirmed cases outside of mainland China. The next day, the United States reported its first coronavirus patient who developed symptoms after returning from a visit to Wuhan. That began a steady trend in cumulative coronavirus cases from January 26 to February 23. The case count dramatically increased from 20 cases in February 26 to 163,705 cases after just 30 days, a prodigious 818,425% increase. The cumulative U.S. coronavirus cases is about 4.2 million by July 26, 2020.
